TWICE’s Tzuyu was born in the district of Tainan, Taiwan on 14th June 1999. Tzuyu started dancing in her childhood and trained in a professional dance academy. She was noticed by talent scouts at the MUSE Performing Arts Workshop in Tainan, in 2012. She moved to Korea at the end of the same year to begin her training. She passed an exam to complete middle school. She studied in High School in South Korea and got a graduation degree in 2019.
Tzuyu took part in the reality show Sixteen in 2015 and was selected as per the audience’s voting. And in the same year, she was officially selected for TWICE’s members. With its first release, ‘The Story Begins.’ The group’s ‘Like Ohh Ahh’ was the first release to reach 100 million views on the YouTube channel.
Since her debut, the dancer has worked for a show and is recognized for her Beauty. And in 2016, she was the third most popular idol in South Korea.
