The one to have made an immense contribution to the music industry is Udit Narayan. He is the King of the Music industry. His every track was a hit especially the one which he has sung for Shah Rukh Khan. Those romantic records made not just Shah Rukh Khan the Romance King of Bollywood, but Udit Narayan gained colossal fame.

Udit Narayan has sung in numerous styles and has won 4 National Film Awards. Though he made his debut in 1980, he was striving to make a mark.

Udit Narayan has sung several super hit tracks. A few of his songs went on to become chartbusters for the year. But two of his songs that gave major fame to the guy are Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna for DDLJ and Papa Kehte Hain for Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Udit Narayan has made a contribution of more than 15,000 songs to the music industry. But his first career as a singer started for a Nepali Radio and later he came to Mumbai.

Udit Narayan came to Mumbai on scholarship. He was trained at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan for six years in classical music.

Udit Narayan also had an opportunity to sing alongside Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar. It was later in 1988 he started his stairs towards success.

Udit Narayan’s son Aditya Narayan also followed his father’s footsteps. And time and again, he gives the industry some good tracks.
