Adele, real name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, was born in Tottenham, London, England, on May 5, 1988. She is an English pop singer and songwriter, one of her generation’s most well-known artists thanks to her soulful, expressive voice and expertly constructed compositions.

In various working-class areas of London, Adkins was raised by a young, single mother. She picked up the guitar and the clarinet when she was young and enjoyed performing modern pop songs. It wasn’t until she was in her early teens, however, that she started to think about a career in music after discovering mid-20th century artists like rhythm-and-blues vocalist Etta James. During Adkins’ time honing her skills at a secondary performing arts institution supported by the government, a friend started uploading songs Adkins had written and recorded to the social networking website Myspace. Record companies finally became interested in her songs, and in 2006, a few months after graduation, she landed a deal with XL Recordings.

The singer said she would eventually like to grow her family during a Desert Island Discs edition on BBC Radio 4. “I would absolutely like a few more babies,” she declared. “If we can, it would be great. If not, I have Angelo. I merely want to be joyful.” Adele, seeing Rich Paul right now, also talked about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Simon Konecki’s nine-and-a-half-year-old son Angelo.

Adele stated that her kid is now of an age when he enjoys music, and she gets to share that with him. She declared that Angelo had recently discovered his love for music. “He’s been into video games lately, which is more his dad’s thing than mine. So we get down and have the most passionate discussions about music. She continued to sit down and discuss these songs while we listened to them together.” And while we discuss it, he asks, “What do you think this means?” I said, “I don’t know.” It might imply this or that. Simply delicious.
