American singer, actress, model, songwriter Pink is another celebrity to test positive for coronavirus. The star took to Instagram and Twitter and wrote that two weeks ago she and her three-year-old son, Jameson, were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, the primary care physician had access to tests and she had tested positive. Her family was sheltering at home and continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of their doctor. Just a few days ago, they were re-tested and thankfully tested negative.
The actress also expressed the failure of the government to make testing kits accessible. She said the virus doesn’t discriminate and hence the testing should be more widely accessible. To help the process, the 40-year-old announced that she is making a sizable donation of $1 million to support health care workers on the frontlines. She also urged everybody to stay home and be safe and support the healthcare staff in every means possible. Well, we are relieved to know that the singer has recovered.
