Indian Idol judge Anu Malik clasped at Sunidhi Chauhan for stopping him: ‘Let me complete’. Anu Malik has attended various assignments as an Indian Idol arbitrator.

Anu Malik, in the fifth season of the reality show Indian Idol, had a little of an argument with co-judge Sunidhi Chauhan, over a desiring competitor’s performance. Anu Malik has had a long partnership with Indian Idol. The songwriter has had various stints as an arbitrator on the exhibit. He shares the arbitrator’s board with Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya on season 12 of the reality show.

In the fifth season of the reality show, he was enlisted by co-arbitrators Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant. At one of the audition sessions, Anu and Sunidhi got into a little disagreement over a competitor.

In an old tape transferred on the SET India YouTube channel, the three arbitrators heard carefully as a nominee chanted the melody Dil Ko Hazar Baar, from the movie Murder. “You seem like a strong individual, if you vocalize nicely, you’ll be rewarded, so concentrate,” Anu said to her before her performance of the song.

But after the contestant was done with her performance, Anu Malik wasn’t impressed by her performance. He regarded, “The song that you right now chanted, I didn’t contemplate it. l apologize but I’m going to speak something…Essentially, what we are searching for is a good voice. If an individual has an amazing voice, then I’ll take it forward, if they don’t we can’t take them.” He was then stopped and interrupted by Sunidhi who loved the participant’s voice, “You have got an amazing voice and it’s a yes from my side.” But Anu was upset because Sunidhi interrupted while he was speaking and didn’t let him complete his sentence.
