Born in Boca Raton, Florida, on June 26, 1993, Ariana Grande is a successful American pop singer and actress who is remembered for her four-octave range. She debuted in the mainstream music industry in the early 2010s and quickly rose to fame. When Grande was young, she started acting and singing. She was awarded a part in the Broadway production of 13, and she soon started to make cameo appearances on various television programmes. In 2010, she received a role on the Nickelodeon TV show Victorious, which was her big break. She portrayed Cat Valentine, a teen enrolled in an acting programme. She appeared in the spin-off series Sam & Cat (2013–2014) when the sitcom was cancelled in 2013.
Grande honed her vocal abilities while pursuing an acting career. Her song “Put Your Hearts Up” was released in 2011. Later, she criticized the song and music video for having a teeny-bopper vibe. Two years later, Yours Truly, her debut album, was released. It featured the hit song “The Way,” a joint effort with rapper Mac Miller. Numerous people complimented the record, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Grande has drawn parallels to Mariah Carey thanks to her R&B-infused pop music and excellent vocal range.
As a result of her popularity, Grande started to concentrate more on music. My Everything, the second album she published, made her a pop star when it was released in 2014. There were joint efforts with these singers on the album, which also debuted at number one. Once again, Grande collaborated with well-known musicians like Lil’ Wayne and Minaj for her 2016 album, Dangerous Woman. More than 20 people were killed by a suicide bomber at an arena following a concert in Manchester, England, in May 2017, when she was on tour in support of the album. Grande later planned a charity event to collect money for the impact. Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry were among the celebrities there. A four-part documentary series called “Dangerous Woman Diaries” by Grande was published in 2018 on YouTube. It featured behind-the-scenes tour videos as well as images from the recording of her upcoming album, Sweetener (2018)
