Actress Aditi Rawat who has done projects like Main Bhi Ardhangini is happy and upbeat as she welcomes Diwali 2022 with a devotional song that she shot recently. The song Hey Ram, made by the music label Leoglobal Music is sung by Pratibha Singh and Ashish Varma.
Says Aditi on her experience, “I had a wonderful experience shooting for this music video. The location was beautiful, the set was beautiful and the people I worked with were very nice. Overall there were a lot of positive vibes. I also went through this emotional journey—I could relate to how Sita Maa must have felt as I shot for this video and it helped me gain some new experience which is what an actor craves.”
“I had a great time being a part of this music video, especially because the song is beautiful. This is the first time that I’ve featured in a devotional music video. And personally, I feel that devotional music videos can never go wrong. People might not like or pay much heed to other types of music videos, but people generally tend to like devotional songs. The lyrics of the song are great and I loved how well it was sung,” she adds.
Talking about the trend of featuring in music videos, Aditi explains, “Yes, a lot of people have been featuring in music videos these days and they’ve gained a lot of popularity through them. It’s giving people a lot of exposure. I believe that’s because the audience can connect to music in their own way. One might not be able to have that connection with a TV show or a movie, but music is like this Universal language that you don’t really need to understand to enjoy. And I think that’s why music videos have suddenly emerged as a trend and are so popular.”
Talking about why she chose a devotional song for her debut in music videos, she says, “I’m fond of devotional songs. As I mentioned earlier, I truly believe one can never go wrong with a devotional song and this one, in particular, is just beautiful. Be it the way the song was sung or the lyrics or just the journey that it will take the listeners and viewers on, this song will be a hit with the masses. When I received a call for this song, I jumped at the opportunity. I could relate to the song and it also gave me a great experience, so really, what’s not to love about it?”.
