In an interview, Australian director Baz Luhrmann talked with BLACKPINK’s Rose about her experience shifting from Australia to South Korea to pursue her career in the music industry.

Rose revealed that she was always passionate about learning music, but she didn’t have any guidance to move forward.

While she was in Australia being a Korean she loved k-pop music but she never thought she could achieve her dreams. It was nothing like that she just have to audition. She wasn’t informed about anything to how to get her dreams.

And, all that happened is by chance.

The director asked Rose, about her experience training in Korea since she wasn’t sure what to expect?

Rose explains that in the initial days she assumed she knew what exactly the k-pop training system is like. And as you reach there you have to work hard. She never danced before except for being silly with her friends.

Although everyone told her she would be busy, Rose choose to complete her task, until she released it is quite intense.

Rose realized that to become a star she needs to give all of herself to the training. While remembering her training days and struggle, Rose is all positive about it and says it helped her achieve her dreams.
