Manna Dey was an iconic singer of the Bollywood film industry whose 100th birth anniversary was celebrated on 1st May 2019. Having being passed away at the age of 94 in the year 2013, he left the industry with the mesmerizing tracks that haven't lost their charm even after a century.

His career spanned for decades and has over 4000 songs from the films and otherwise. One of the most versatile singers, Dey sang several languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Bhojpuri Punjabi, and Marathi, etc.

Bollywood made him a superstar when he delivered hit songs like Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli and Ek Chatur Naar for the film Padosan.

He became Raj Kapoor voice as a playback singer when he sang Eye Bhai Dekh Ke Chalo for the film Joker.
