Zaeden Sharma was born to Latika and Ashish Sharma in Gurugram, India. Sanjana Sharma is his younger sister. He went to The Heritage School as a kid, where he played the tabla and piano all the time. He started performing as a DJ when he was 14 years old. He studied public communication briefly at Amity University in Noida before moving to Mumbai to pursue a degree in sound engineering.

Sharma claimed that his given name was too prevalent in India, so he went by the stage name “Zaeden,” which in Latin means “out of the box thinking.”

Sharma began his career at the age of 14, creating and distributing dance music release tapes among his friends, eventually leading to the release of his first single, “Land of Lords,” in 2014. His remix of Coldplay’s “Magic” was played on Dutch DJ Hardwell’s radio show Hardwell On Air that same year, making him one of the show’s youngest DJs. In the same year, he released his official remix of Maroon 5’s track “Don’t Wanna Know.”

He joined Spinnin’ Records in 2015 and released the tune “Yesterday,” which he co-wrote with American DJ Borgeous.

Sharma performed as the closing performance for DJ David Guetta’s Mumbai concert in 2016. He was one of the few Indian artists to perform at the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium the following year, where he premiered “Yesterday” alongside his remix of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.” Sharma’s second single for Spinnin’, “Never Let You Go,” was released in July of that year, and it was a collaboration with DJ duo Nina & Malika.

Here is Zaeden’s New album, which has the greatest music to listen to this Valentine’s Day.
