In the music, film, and drama industry of South Korea, this is that one concept that leaks through in different ways. Here are 5 Korean celebrity couples who prove that love is the best feeling in the world.
1) Hyomin And Hwang Ui-jo:
2022 got quite the sweet start when the T-ara bang member, Hyomin, and South Korean footballer, Hwang Ui-Jo made their relationship official. As per a Lifestyle Asia report, the two got close after Ui-Jo suffered an ankle and hamstring injury.
2) Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin:
These two co-stars share quite the stunning on-screen chemistry in the K-drama, Crash Landing on you. They sent their fans into a frenzy when they announced their relationship. Son Ye-Jin shared an Instagram couples post that was captioned “I’m thankful to have met a good person and I’ll work hard.”
3) HyunA and Dawn:
These two have the sweetest lobes story. The South Korean music and showbiz industry take their ‘No Dating Clasue’ quite seriously. 4MINUTE ex-member, HyunA and former member of Pentagon, Dawn put quite a bit on the line when they decided to date each other in 2016. They made it official in 2018. Their agency, Cube Entertainment had made a statement, “It was decided that it was impossible to restore trust with the two artists, Hyuna and E’Dawn, so we decided to leave the two artists.”
There were mixed reactions to the news. They bounced back from and once again got into the scenes under Psy’s label P Nation and are still going strong.
4) Ryeowook and Ari:
Ex-Super Junior member and former Tahiti girl group singer Air hit the headline when they made their relationship official. It was later confirmed by the Lable SJ. “We confirmed that Ryeowook and Ari are in a romantic relationship after they were first close as senior and junior artists.”
Ryeowook continued his career as a solo artist while Ari turned to acting.
5) Kim Hee-chul and Momo:
Hee-chul, yet another Super Junior member, and TWICE’s Momo are yet another couple with a lovely story. The two started off with a senior-junior friendship but soon developed feelings for each other. They started dating in 2019 but only confirmed it in 2020. They have a 13 year age gap but they have received a lot of love and appreciation from their fans as well as the industry.
