Meghan Trainor, the singer of ‘All About That Bass,’ has spoken up about her mental health issues, revealing that she had her first panic attack live on TV. According to femalefirst.co.uk, the singer began “vibrating” and felt like she was “dying” while on ‘CBS This Morning’ with Gayle King ahead of presenting the 2017 Grammy nominees.

Trainor explained, “I was vibrating when introducing the nominees.” On live television, I felt like I was about to pass out. ‘What is going on?’ I wondered. ‘I think I’m going to pass away.’ I ran offstage and gasped for oxygen in front of everyone as soon as they called ‘Cut.'” Meghan – who gave birth to her first child, Riley, in February – is a mother of two children.

“Gayle became my email friend after that and constantly kept an eye on me,” she explained. “I was embarrassed and apologised excessively, but she swiftly corrected the situation. On this earth, she’s an angel.” Trainor was diagnosed with panic disorder later in her life.

“I recall eating a lot of food one night and then feeling scared and thinking to myself, ‘I need to go to the emergency room because I’m allergic to what I just ate,'” she told people.com. ‘No, no, no, I’m allergic to something,’ I explained. ‘You can see my throat closing if you look in the back of my throat.’ That was the first time I met someone.
