One of Hindi film industry’s leading music composer Pritam Chakraborty is known for making some of the best musical hits of the years gone by. Such was his entertainment quotient that he became a regular music composer and director for almost every movie.
Pritam is known to be very warm and lovng when it comes to working with his friends and the process is starting soon for him again. Nitesh Tiwari, who directed the Aamir Khan starrer blockbuster, ‘Dangal’, has collaborated again with his friend Pritam for his next ‘Chhichhore’.
On working with Nitesh again, Pritam was quoted as saying,
“Working with Nitesh has always been a joy. His films are not musicals but the stories and the treatment is so beautiful that the songs though situational stay with the audience.”
On the work front, Pritam has quite a number of interesting projects lined up. He is also working on ‘Brahmastra’ with Ayaan Mukerji after the blockbuster musical ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. He is working with Anurag Basu on his next and their collaborations in the past have included movies like ‘Jagga Jasoos’, ‘Life in a Metro’, ‘Gangster’ and ‘Barfi’. He is also working with Imtiaz Ali in his next as per what he revealed. He is working in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’, starring Ranveer Singh.
So, given so many projects in his bag already, the next 12 months seem to be really busy and engaging for this music director. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors and exciting projects.
