The younger sister of playback Sonu Kakkar, Neha was a contestant on Indian Idol’s season 2. In 2008, she debuted in the music industry with her album ‘Neha The Rock Star’ which was composed by the Meet Bros. However, she finally caught her break in 2014 with Honey Singh’s ‘Sunny Sunny’ which was featured in the movie Yaariyan. In those 6 years before she finally got recognition, Kakkar lent her voice for many movies including Dhating Nach from Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Second Hand Jawani from Cocktail.

Today, she is the voice behind so many hits that have taken the country by storm and can be found playing in not just pubs but also weddings! Neha Kakkar has given us London Thumakda, Kala Chashma, Badri Ki Dulhania, Chote chote Peg, Kar Gayi Chull, and Main Tera Boyfriend among many others and all these songs have been party anthems. Would you believe that there was a time when the singer struggled so much that she took up singing at Jagratas for money? One of the most followed Indian singer on social media, Kakkar has also performed at more than one thousand live concerts.

The Indian Shakira with her chirpy voice has even proven her versatility with the romantic number Mile Ho Tum from the movie Fever and the sexy ‘Aao Raja’ from Gabbar Is Back.
