Kim Taehyung aka V, one of the BTS members rolled the ARMY Daya into a thirst trap day though fans aren’t whining. Saturday, July 9, the BTS fandom celebrated its ninth birthday, The ARMY day. While BTS members wished the fandom via Google Search Easter Eggs, Kim Taehyung took to Weverse and shared an eye-popping selfie.
The cutest boy V was teased by fans for his shirtless posing in the latest picture shared. The singer wore a gold chain and his hair was all messy while sharing he wrote, “Happy Birthday ARMY.”
Meanwhile, fans took to Twitter and said they weren’t prepared for the thirst trap. And to this one of the users tweeted, “So Taehyung is the type of boyfriend to send you a thirst trap as your birthday gift,” while another one wrote, “I woke up late today and just get a notification from weverse then open and see taehyung’s thirst trap picture thank you sm taehyung for giving us this beautiful gift in ARMY’S happy birthday.”
Last year, when appearing on The Jimmy Fallon Show, BTS leader RM shared that the fandom name should be something else. He explained this in his own words, “When we think of the fan name, someone brings up the idea, like, ‘What about the bell thing?’ Everybody rings their bells and [we’re] like, ‘Make some noise!’ The Bells are like ‘ring-a-ling-a-ling.’ But thank God that [it changed], ARMY is so much better.”
