How would you describe BTS’s style? Simply put, you can’t. The seven-piece band has proven to be style chameleons, walking red carpets and doing flawless dance routines all around the world.

BTS’s costumes are frequently straight from the runway, and they have snatched up a few designer houses. RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and JungKook have all been dressed by Celine, Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, and Ralph Lauren, with Louis Vuitton appointing them house ambassadors early in 2021. Although the band follows each Maison’s creative approach, they have shown a preference for elegant tailoring—and the occasional tuxedo—as well as streetwear. There is clearly nothing this band can’t accomplish.

Concert wear is when BTS’s ingenuity shines brightest. Consider the romantic, billowing white shirts all seven donned to perform at the American Music Awards in November 2020, or the crazy colour-pop ensembles they wore on Jimmy Fallon to perform “Dynamite.” Anyone who has seen them play live knows that, aside from the catchy lyrics and enigmatic dance movements, it’s the outstanding looks that all seven members wear on stage that makes Army (BTS’s devoted fan base) stan them even harder.

For the 2019 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the band looked smart in classic tuxedos by Korean designers JayBaek Couture and Kim Seo Ryong. V and Jimin get props for their bright hair colours.

Jungkook, Suga, V, Jin, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope all wore matching tonal Prada for the 2019 Melon Music Awards, a Miss Vogue favourite.

Hedi Slimane chooses who is allowed to wear his Celine lines with care. BTS, of course, fit the bill and wore Celine’s fits from head to toe at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2019.
