In 2016, Charlie Puth enraged Justin Bieber’s ardent followers by yelling an obscenity at the “Baby” singer during a concert. In Dallas, Charlie, 30, was playing his song “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which includes Justin’s ex, Selena Gomez, when he blurted out, “F*ck you, Justin Bieber,” in-between choruses. Charlie apologized for the incident, but Justin, 27, didn’t find closure until Monday, January 31 when he retaliated against the “Attention” singer in an epic FaceTime session.

The Kid Laroi, Justin’s buddy and collaborator on “STAY,” was FaceTiming with Charlie when he passed the phone to Justin. Justin got right to work after the two exchanged formal greetings. “We never actually got to talk about the time you yelled ‘f–k you’ on stage to me years ago,” he added to Charlie, who laughed. “To be honest, I don’t think it’s that humorous,” Justin stated solemnly. This led Charlie to believe that the pop singer was truly distressed by the situation. “Wait, you’re referring to something from six years ago?” Charlie clarified, “That was a joke.”

Charlie was perplexed when Justin stated that the scenario “hurt my feelings.” “You can’t be serious, can you?” That was not the case. “It was like something that was blown out of proportion,” the “One Call Away” singer explained. Charlie stated he was “being facetious” and “totally sarcastic” at the moment when Justin asked him why he did what he did. When Charlie asked if Justin was joking, the “Sorry” singer lost the act and busted out laughing over the phone. Funny!
