Madonna Louise Ciccone is an American singer as well as a songwriter and actress. She was born on August 16, 1958. She is regarded as the most influential figure in popular culture. She was known as the Queen of pop. Her main achievement is her continuous reinvention. She has shown versatility in music production, songwriting, and visual presentation. Though she was born and raised in Michigan, in 1978 she moved to New York to pursue a career in modern dance. Her debut album Madonna was released in 1983. Till then she performed as drummer, guitarist, vocalist in a rock band. She has released many albums between 1984 to 2005. Meanwhile, she has acted in many movies like Desperately Seeking Susan, Dick Tracy, A League Of Their Own, and Evita. After doing all these movies, her popularity was enhanced. For her role in the movie Evita, she won Golden Globe awards for best actress.
