We’ve compiled a list of interesting facts about the artist that you probably didn’t know about… Amann Khuranaa (Amann Khuranaa).

When KK was a student at Delhi’s Mount St. Mary School, he would listen to his mother’s Malayali songs, which his father would record on a little tape recorder. The vocalist, who is one of the most well-known figures in Bollywood music, has no professional musical training. During his school days, he would just hum along to his favorite tunes. KK, who grew up in South Delhi’s Green Park, was a huge fan of the Sholay song “Mehbooba.” People would frequently request that he sing the song, and he would gladly oblige.

KK began pursuing music seriously following a theatrical performance in school when he was in second grade. He sang ‘Jab andhera hota hai’ from the 1973 film Raja Rani to a standing ovation from the audience. KK describes this experience as “life-changing” and thinks that it has aided him in becoming who he is now.

KK has been married to Jyothy Krishna, his childhood sweetheart, for approximately 24 years. But he needed to have a job before he could take sacred vows with his ladylove. For the sheer joy of it, KK took up the job of a salesperson. After six months on the job, KK, now a married man, was dissatisfied. He acquired the guts to quit it and follow what he was born to do-music, thanks to the encouragement of his wife and father. With pals Shibani Kashyap and Saibal Basu, he bought a piano and began producing jingles.
