Neeti Mohan, the eldest of the Mohan sisters, has worked in Bollywood since 2012. Her musical journey, however, began much earlier.

Despite the fact that Neeti Mohan began practicing music at an early age and performed in a variety of concerts as a child, she had never considered pursuing a career in singing, let alone entering Bollywood.

She rose to prominence after winning Network V’s Popstars in 2003. Neeti was a member of the Asian pop band Aasma, along with other Coke [V] Popstars Jimmy Felix, Sangeet Haldipur, Peyush Dixit, Aamir Ali, and Vasudha Sharma. Aasma gave us iconic masterpieces like Chandu ki Chacha and Tumse Hi Pyaar despite having a brief existence (the band parted up in 2004) and only two albums.

Neeti Mohan, who has lent her vocals to a number of B-town stars, made her film debut in Karan Johar’s adolescent drama Student of the Year. She sang Ishq Wala Love, a popular ballad with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra. When she was invited to give her vocals to the song Jiya Re for the 2012 blockbuster Jab Tak Hain Jaan, she jumped at the chance. The RD Burman award was given to her for both of these songs, recognizing her brilliance.

She also provided her vocals to the songs Nazar Laaye from the 2013 film Raanjhanaa, Darbadar from CityLights (2014), Tu Hi Tu from Kick, and Mohabbat Buri Bimari from Bombay Velvet. She is a yoga devotee, passionate badminton practitioner, and trained dancer (2015). The song Naino wale Ne from the multi-starrer Padmavat is the most recent addition to her repertoire (2018).
