Neha Kakkar has come a long way as a singer. What started as a performance for religious events turned into a dreamy career as a rock star! She began singing at the young age of four. She worked with her brother, Tony Kakkar, on a lot of projects, even before she was a singer professionally.
One of her first attempts at chasing a career in the music industry was through the reality show, Indian Idol. She was a participant in the second season of the show in 2006. And even though she was eliminated quite early, she still made it. Years later, she is now one of the judges of the show.
‘Neha the Rockstar’ was the debut album that she launched in 2008. Her song ‘Mohabbat Hai’ helped her gain more opportunities. She got to debut as a singer through the movie, Meerabai Not Out. Over the years she has delved deeper into the filmi Bollywood genre and has released some amazing hits. In 2019 itself she released hit after hit and took her place at the top of the charts for quite a few songs.
She got to collaborate with a lot of well-known singers as well. She made hits with remixes of old songs as well her own creations which were some amazing party songs that will have you on your toes till morning. Some of her recent biggest hits include, ‘Anhke Mare’, ‘O Saki Saki’ ‘Coca Cola’, and many others.
She had quite a journey getting to where she is today. She has made some amazing music on the way and will probably continue to do so!
