Monsta X is a South Korean boy band. They consist of in total six members, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, I.M, Joohoney, and Hyungwon where Hyungwon and Wonhu are sub vocalist, kihyun is the lead vocalist and Joohoney is the rapper. The group came into existence through the reality survival program No. Mercy by starship entertainment. Monsta X released their first EP on fourteen May in the year 2015. The name of the EP was Tresspass.
Monsta X released their first studio album in March of 2017. In the following year, their Japanese single ”Spotlight” received an official gold certification by the Recording Industry Association Of Japan. Their First English album called ”All About Luv” peaked at number five on the charts of Billboard 200.
The boy band has won several awards such as the Asian Artist Awards, Golden Disc award, Seoul Music award and many more.
