“‘Vaaste’ has brought me so much affection from across the spectrum,” Dhvani Bhanushali says of the chart-topping song. “I’ve had kids and even adults come up to me and hum the song for me, which is the highest compliment I could receive, to be able to connect with the people who have helped me become who I am, my audience.”
