K-pop has been getting more traction day-by-day on a global level. More people all over the world have been falling for the charms of this wide genre of music. There are so many k-pop groups who have made quite a name for themselves not only in Korea but all over the world!
While their music has been reaching every corner of the world, so has the style! There have been quite a few changes in Korean fashion, as it always does since the beginning. There have been quite a few trends that made it big and others that will never again see the light of the day!
Recently, it is observed that K-pop idols’ costumes have been getting shorter and shorter. Check out the reason here! Take a look:
Each group that makes its debut comes up with its own concept. And nowadays quite a few of them opt for a sizzling look over a cutesy one. Fans started noticing this after a few pictures of the now-disbanded female group, Delighter were posted online.
The pictures were of the members while they were practicing in their studios. It wasn’t the girl’s performances but rather what they were wearing that caught the public eye! The dresses were so short that they looked more like t-shirts instead. People were particularly struck by Taehee’s dress.
There were fans who thought the look was implemented because of the hot concept and that the dress only emphasized their beauty. And ever since the trend of short skirts and dresses has been quite popular.
Many other idols were seen rocking the same super short costumes like Oh My Girls’ YooA; AOA’s Seolhyun; and even Blackpink’s Jennie. They were all quite successful with their looks considering the fan’s compliments.
While the trend is quite popular, the debate still hasn’t ended! There aren’t any fans that can deny these idols’ beauty with or without their short outfits, fans did sometimes notice how uncomfortable and self-conscious their favorite idols look in their short costumes.
