Last week was the grand finale episode of the Naam Reh Jayega through which a musical tribute was given to the late Lata Mangeshkar. This was the most amazing and emotional tribute to the legendary Lata Ji. Lata Mangeshkar’s sister Usha Mangeshkar and brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar were seen sharing her life journey and some incidents.
Lata Mangeshkar was very close to her family and she had a very shared and lovely bond with each member of the family. Usha Mangeshkar said Lata didi used to be always with Meena Tai during recording and she used to take the approval of Meena Tai before it went ahead. She trusted her a lot.
While her brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar says, Lata didi always wanted him to win an award, that was her dream. And when she got Bharat Ratna she didn’t celebrate it, but when she got Padma Shri, Lata didi celebrated it as a festival.
Lata Mangeshkar was not only a singer, she used to do a lot of charity work. And also, she helped at times when she was not working. She built Asia’s largest hospital in Pune. Also, it was her dream to build an old-age home for Veterans Musicians of Bollywood.
Well, we surely know how amazing Lata Mangeshkar was, is and forever will be.
