The premise of Prem Keetanu is quite evident from its title, and the story stays true to its core theme. Serving as the official Hindi adaptation of the hit Malayalam movie Premalu, the film blends coming-of-age chaos, love, and romance, bringing this genre back to the screen after quite some time. Along with weaving a new story, the film rightfully strikes a nostalgic chord, blending familiar emotions, drama, and chaos that feels rooted yet refreshing.
A Comical Love Triangle Storyline
The film follows Vishal (Veer Pahariya), a student trapped in academic struggle, family expectations, and love life, set against a vibrant UP-NCR backdrop. As he navigates life, everything turns upside down when he falls for Suhani (Aafiya Sayed). Vishal feels something new, and Suhani gives him a little hope.
But the drama intensifies when Ranjeet (Aparshakti Khurana) enters Vishal’s life as another competitor for Suhani’s attention, sparking rivalry and confrontation. What follows is a hilarious, chaotic, and gut-wrenching rivalry and heartbreak, where the characters simultaneously explore their careers, ambitions, identities, and lives.
