Renowned music composer and singer A.R. Rahman’s son Ameen met with a car accident today, August 10, 2026. Reportedly, the accident took place near the on Monday morning and during the incident Ameen escaped with minor injuries after the Porsche car he was driving collided with a Rapido Wagon-R near Olympia Tech Park signal in Guindy Kathipara flyover in Chennai.
Further the reports says the incident happened around 3.30 am when Ameen was traveling towards Guindy with a friend. About the incident, the police shared that the Wagon-R entered the main road from a side road and collided with the Porsche.
Ameen and his friend both sustained minor injuries and soon they were taken to Kauvery Hospital for treatment and later they were discharged and they returned home.
Also the passenger travelling in the Wagon-R was injured and was admitted to Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital. And they also returned home after receiving treatment.
A case has been registered after the Adyar Traffic Investigation Wing police seized both the vehicles.
A.R. Ameen marked debut as a child singer and in his career he has given hits like Bheegi Bheegi, Never Say Goodbye, Chikiri Chikiri and others.
