Babul Supriyo, a renowned Indian playback singer and politician, has released a new devotional track titled ‘Mere Ram’ on the occasion of Ram Navami. The song seeks the blessings of Lord Ram and expresses the artist’s love and devotion to the almighty. The music for the song has been composed by Altaaf and Manny, and Puneet Gururani has penned down the lyrics.
Babul Supriyo is a well-known personality in the Indian music industry and sings primarily in Hindi, Bengali, and Odia languages. He has also done playback singing in 11 other languages during his musical career and has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2014, he entered politics and joined the government of Narendra Modi.
He has previously served as the Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing, Urban Poverty Alleviation, and Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.
