‘Batla House’ is an upcoming action thriller directed by Nikkhil Advani, and it stars John Abraham in the lead, along with Mrunal Thakur. Mrunal had a fantastic run at the movies with ‘Super 30’ and she will be keen to prove herself yet again with ‘Batla House’. It is to be noted that ‘Batla House’ is inspired by the true events that happened in September 2008 during an encounter between the Delhi Police and suspected terrorists. John Abraham will be seen portraying the role inspired by super cop Sanjeev Kumar Yadav who spearheaded the Batla House encounter.The latest song to have come out from the John Abraham starrer is ‘Rula Diya’, which has turned out to be a beautiful and soft melodious number.
The song has been sung beautifully by Ankit Tiwari and the latest music sensation, Dhvani Bhanushali, and has beautiful composition from Prince Dubey. The song will see John in a very ‘macho’ role and it has beautiful frames shared by Mrunal and John.
‘Batla House’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani (Emmay Entertainment), John Abraham (JA Entertainment), Sandeep Leyzell (Bake My Cake Films) and the subject matter of the film is about this one man who has had 70 encounters, 33 cases, 22 convictions, 9 Gallantry Awards and 1 Accusation.
Overall, the movie has all the makings to evoke a sense of patriotism and bring out the nationalism inside you. The movie is slated to release in cinemas on Independence Day, ie. 15th August 2019.
