Legendary music composer Pyarelal Sharma’s wife, Sunila Sharma, passed away on Sunday, July 12. She was 78 years old at the time of her demise. On Monday, July 13, the last rites of Sunila took place at Dattatray Road Crematorium in Santacruz (West), Mumbai. During the cremation, several celebrities arrived paying their tribute to the deceased.
Composer Pyarelal, who was in a wheelchair, got emotional during the last rites. As the ceremony was being performed with tears in his eyes, he joined his hands, paying his heartfelt tribute to his late wife.
Singer Shabbir Kumar, Sudesh Bhosale, the family of late music composer Ravindra Jain, radio host RJ Anmol, and others attended the last rites of Sunila Sharma.
Pyarelal Sharma is one half of the legendary composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal. He has created the soundtracks for over 500 Bollywood films with some of the most iconic evergreen songs, such as “Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai” from Avtaar, “Om Shanti Om” from Karz, and “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi” from Mr. X in Bombay.
