Popular Bollywood and Punjabi singer, Guru Randhawa, was assaulted by an unidentified man in Canada, as he was exiting the stadium after concluding a concert.

As per reports, the singer had just finished performing at his show at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in the Canadian city of Vancouver, and was exiting the auditorium when he was attacked by the assailant from behind. Randhawa took a blow to the head, but thankfully, paramedics reached the venue in quick time and the singer was administered immediate first aid. He is said to be out of danger. According to eye-witness accounts, the assailant had been creating a ruckus in the audience even while Randhawa was performing on stage. The man has not been identified as yet.

Guru Randhawa is a much-loved Punjabi musician and has a sizeable number of fans in the predominantly Punjabi-Sikh Indian community in Canada. Randhawa is on a musical tour to Canada, where he is slated to perform at multiple venues.
