The Nation is in shock at the demise of renowned singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. The amazing singer who has sung in almost all the languages breathed his last at 01.04 hours just now, at MGM Healthcare in Chennai. He was 74 years old.
The singer fondly known as SPB, was admitted to the hospital in early August for mild COVID symptoms. However, he had tested negative for the virus later. But he continued to be on the ventilator, as his lungs functioning was not up to the mark.
Yesterday, there was news all of a sudden of the thespian singer’s health showing huge deterioration. There has been immense prayers going on for him from his family and well-wishers.
But the unfortunate has happened, as the Nation has lost a big face to the pandemic.
