Some really sad news coming in from the Indian music fraternity.

As per the latest reports in Great Andhra.com, veteran playback singer of the 70s G Anand passed away. Reports suggest that he was infected with Covid-19 and his oxygen level had come down to 55.

Anand is known for his songs “Mallela Vela Allari vela” of Sobhan Babu, “Sneha bandhamu enta madhuramu” of Krishna, and the ever-green devotional song “Adigo Gowtami Idigo Bhadrari”.

He gave his voice to many heroes of Tollywood in the 1970s after the demise of Ghantasala.

Our condolences to the family of the lost soul and may the departed soul rest in peace. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
