Badshah denies paying 75 lakhs for fake followers

Fake Social Media Followers Scam: Rapper Badshah summoned by Mumbai Police

A few days ago, we reported to you that singer Badshah had been summoned by a special committee of the Mumbai Police for questioning regarding apparently buying fake followers on social media.

And now, shocking details revealed.

As per media reports in ZEE News, rapper Badshah has allegedly paid a whopping 75 lakhs amount for views on his single ‘Pagal Hai’.

He had even made claims that the song garnered 7.5 crores in a day which was a world record. Google however had denied the claims as false.

As per reports, he will be summoned again on August 9th for more questioning.

However, from Badshah’s end, he has denied the same and was quoted as saying in his official statement to the media,

“Following the summons, I have spoken to the Mumbai Police. I have aided the officials in their investigation by cooperating and carrying out the due diligence on my part. I have categorically denied all the allegations levelled against me and made it clear that I was never involved in such practices, nor do I condone them. The investigation procedure is being executed in accordance with the law and I have complete faith in the authorities, who are handling this matter. I would like to thank all those who have conveyed their concern to me. It means a lot to me.”
