If you are a fan of the K-Pop genre, there’s absolutely no way you have not heard about the supremely talented Blackpink girls group. The group consists of the very talented Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Be it singing or dancing, they are absolute ‘rockstars’ in the real sense of the term.
They enjoy a legion of fan following all around the world but seems like News Nation channel from India is not aware of them. That’s the very reason, in an audio-visual story where they were talking about the dance and strip culture, they extracted footage of one of Blackpink’s live concerts and referred to them as ‘Chinese Strippers’.
Ever since the video went viral, netizens couldn’t keep calm and have been protesting loud and clear demanding an apology from the news channel.
It will be interesting to see if Blackpink gives out a reaction to this incident or not.
