With the passing of the legendary singer Asha Bhosle, not just the entertainment industry but the whole nation is grieving, especially her close family members. The void she has left is unfillable, and such is the pain of Asha Ji’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle, who recently posted for the first time for her grandmother after her demise.

On Monday, April 13, Asha Bhosle’s last rites took place, and she was cremated with full state honors at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park Crematorium with family, friends, and close ones’ attendance, including the film fraternity.

And today, on April 14, Asha’s granddaughter Zanai, who is also a singer, wrote an emotional note for her grandmother expressing her admiration for her, calling her ‘love of life.

In the first story, Zanai posted a collage photo with Asha Ji and in the text wrote, “So overwhelmed with emotions, I’ll write something when I can, but I have to say that there were so many people who have respected her and honoured her today and beyond it all shown her so much love.”

Thanking all, Zanai said, “I thank you from the bottom of my heart. She deserved every bit of it. I realise that she lives on in every one of us in our hearts forever and she has seen it all from above.
