Ashish Mathur is not just another name in Bollywood but an ace choreographer who has worked with top Bollywood stars and celebrities. He started his journey by converting his passion of dance into a profession by founding a dance academy called Aasma Dance Company in 2006. Since then he has trained countless souls and his expertise in different forms of dance has made him work with top names in Bollywood for songs from different films and music albums. He along with his wife Sonia Mathur have founded the dance academy in Delhi.
Soon ended up making it the best dance company in the country producing ace dancers. He has worked with different wedding planning companies and events that moved around dance and dancers. This also gave him the chance to work as a Choreographer and it’s been 15 years. Some of the big names in the Tinsel Town for which he has worked include singer Mika Singh, dancer Sapna Choudhary, Singer Neha Kakkar, Milind Gaba, and Hussain Kuwajerwala to name a few. This is not all as he has also worked with some top Bollywood actors.
These include Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan in Dabangg, and others include Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia, Prachi Desai, Pooja, Sohail Khan to name a few. With his dance team, he has travelled to different countries in Europe and other continents. So far he has travelled for not less than 20 nations for different live dance performances and other shows. Under his dance group – Aasma Dance Company, he has done so far more than 7000 shows which include 500 shows a year. He intends to embark upon a Music University where the students will be taught different courses on dance, music, singing and DJ to name a few.
