As per reports of South Korean Media ‘Dispatch,’ Jennie Kim of Blackpink has been dating more than a year G-Dragon (GD) of Bigbang. K-Pop website ‘Soompi’ even mentioned that both have been meeting each other secretly and have their dates at each other’s homes away from the public and media’s eyes.
Jennie and G-Dragon first worked together in 2012 in G-Dragon’s music video titled “That XX”. At that time Jennie was a 20-year-old trainee in this music field whereas G-Dragon is 8 years senior and she was already a pro in the field of pop music. Since then they have collaborated on many occasions. Jennie and G-dragon both have a huge fan following on social media with over 19 million and 10 million followers respectively and thus their fans always had a watch on them.
GD is the global brand ambassador of ‘Chanel’ since 2016 and at the same time, Jennie was signed by a luxury French house. Both bands already have gained popularity on a global level but at the same time on an individual level also, both have gained a massive fan following.
YG Entertainment, a firm that manages both Jennie Kim and G-Dragon has refused to comment on these rumors of dating as “We cannot confirm anything about our artists’ personal lives. We ask for your understanding.” Whatever be the reality, let’s hope that both G-Dragon and Jennie Kim achieve more happiness and success in their future ahead.
