Neha Kakkar (born 6 June 1988) was born in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, but was brought up in the capital of the country, Delhi. She is an Indian playback singer who has lent her voice to numerous songs in Bollywood movies.
The talented singer first rose to fame when she participated in the television reality show Indian Idol Season 2 in 2006. She participated in the Indian Idol at a very young age when she was studying in class XI at New Holy Public School.
In 2008, she launched her first album, Neha-The Rock Star, and the music was composed by Meet Bros.
Neha Kakkar had sung her first song in a Bollywood movie in 2013, the song ‘Dhating Naach’ for the movie ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’. She gave her voice in the popular song ‘Sunny Sunny’ with Honey Singh in 2014. In the same year, Neha gave her voice in the song ‘London Thumakda’. Then Neha has sung many popular songs like Aankh Maare, Kaala Chashma, and Manali Trance.
Neha was a judge In Indian Idol Season 10. She also appeared in Comedy Circus Ke Tansen in 2014 on Sony TV. She had judged a singing reality show on Zee TV named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs.
Neha has a sister Sonu Kakkar who is a singer, from whom she got inspiration to build up her career in the music industry.
In the modern era, Neha is a rising singer in the Bollywood Industry. And today Neha is one of the most famous singers in the country.
