Neha Kakkar is a playback singer from India. Sonu Kakkar’s younger sister is a playback singer. She began performing at religious occasions at a young age. She competed in the second season of Indian Idol, a singing reality program, in 2005. In the film Meerabai Not Out, she made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer. She rose to fame after the release of Cocktail’s dance hit “Second Hand Jawaani,” which was followed by numerous successful party songs such as Yaariyan’s “Sunny Sunny” and Queen’s “London Thumakda.” Aside from playback singing, Kakkar has starred in a number of music videos and has served as a judge on a number of reality series, including “Indian Idol.”
