Once upon a time, remakes in the music industry were a ‘once in a blue moon’ phenomenon. Songs that would have a long-lasting impact would remain etched in people’s minds and hearts for the longest time without the need for recreation. But in today’s music industry, it has become the other way round where remakes and remixes are a regular thing.
The latest song adding to the list is Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman’s famous ‘Mere Angne Mein’ song which has once again been recreated by T Series featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz in the lead roles. While some have loved the new recreated and reprised version, some truly feel that ‘old is gold’.
