They kept their followers up to date via Instagram stories. “Hey guys, we’ve decided to stop our romantic relationship,” the statement started, “but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”
“We began our friendship as best friends and will continue to be best friends in the future. We are grateful for your continued support, both in the past and in the future.” Shawn and Camila also added. The news comes just two weeks after the former couple went out in similar Folklorico attire for Halloween to commemorate the Day of the Dead. Cabello said in a recent interview with Glamour magazine that she and Mendes had sought counseling to better their relationship. Their admirers were heartbroken and saddened since they had been so thrilled with their love, and watching it end made them cry.
