IWMBuzz tells you about Rashmi Sharma launching her own label

Rashmi Sharma launches music label, read details

Producer duo Rashmi Sharma and Pawan Kumar Marut, after excelling in television, films, and web are now launching their own music label – KARONA TIMES MUSIC. The name is the result of the current situation we are in. The producers feel that a quirky name like this will remind us of this lockdown and quarantine period, years later too.
Under the banner Karona Times Music they have come with a Youtube channel by the same name and this will cater to music and poetry-based entertainment. The label has come up with some innovative content in order to satiate your entertainment needs during the lockdown period.

Inspired by the pandemic coronavirus has caused and the subsequent lockdown in India, the team has come up with this amazing rap song Bhaag Corona sung by Anup KR and composed by Mayur Jumani, written by Kapil Sharma which will see the who’s who of television coming together. The song features Rubina Dilaik, Sharad Malhotra, Abhinav Shukla, Kamya Punjabi, Jiaa Manek, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Kamya Panjabi, Donal Bisht, Helly Shah who have previously worked with Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The rap number will launch on the youtube channel on Thursday, May 28, 12 pm.
On the same Youtube channel, their second project is a compilation of poems based again on the current situation – lockdown, quarantine, unemployment, pandemic, migrant labourers and so on. The compilation of poems will go by the title – ‘Nirvasit’ – with a common theme – Sametkar Apne Khwaab Tere Sheher Se Jaa Rahe Hain Hum. The poems have been written by Rajeev Kumar and the voiceover has been done by Adarsh Gautam. The poem compilation will be launched on the youtube channel on May 29, Friday, at 12pm.

Speaking on this latest development, Rashmi Sharma says, “Pawanji, Sanjeev Kumar and I were really missing work during the lockdown. We did not want the lockdown to be a waste in terms of productivity. The rap song Bhaag Corona adds a new twist to the lockdown. The poems bring out the dark and surreal reality of our times.”
