Salman Ali is the champ of the 10th season on Indian Idol. Hailing from Nuh, a district at Haryana, he shocked everyone with his fantastic voice. He relates to a family that has been singing for four generations as a means of livelihood. Salman used to sing at jagaratas and has also lent his voice to a few television serials. He sang the theme song for Chandragupta Maurya and made his Bollywood debut in Jai Ho for Satellite Shankar. Salman Ali was not just the winner of Indian Idol but also a runner up for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs.
Sunny Hindustani won the television show Indian Idol season 11. He is from Amarpura Basti in Bhatinda, Punjab. As he belonged to a very financially weak family, he dropped out of school and started performing to earn money. He used to sing at numerous events and functions at his locality as he lost his father when he was 13; therefore had to make daily bread for the family. While on the Indian Idol set as a contestant, he received several offers from music directors to sing for their films. His debut in Bollywood was in 2019 movie The Body, Rom Rom.
