Ponniyin Selvan: I is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language epic period action film directed by Mani Ratnam, who co-wrote it with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan.
The movie stars an ensemble cast of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Prabhu, Prakash Raj and more. While, the music in the movie is composed by ace composer A. R. Rahman.
Recently, A.R.Rahman took to his instagram handle and shared a stunning picture feauturing himself alongside Mani Ratnam, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and more.
In the picture, the cast of PS1 looked stunning dressed in gorgeous attires. While sharing the post, Rahman wrote, “Unwinding With The Heavily Loaded PS 1 Team At My Mumbai Studio.”
Well, besides this, Part 1 of Ponniyin Selvan is gearing up to hit theaters on September 30, 2022. The Sarigama Cinemas is presenting the movie in USA. Presales for USA premiere of Ponniyin Selvan 1 are currently at $434,882 from 297 locations and a total of 801 shows.
With increasing demand, shows are being added and 5 more days left for the film’s release, this number is expected to touch the second highest USA premiere sales for a Tamil film.
Although, Rajinikanth’s 2016 movie Kabali continues to hold the highest sales for a Tamil film premiere at $1M.
