Check out how Koreans are dancing over Bollywood music

Hindi film songs, often known as Hindi Geet or filmi songs or simply Bollywood music, are songs that are used in Hindi-language movies. Bollywood songs and dance, which were inspired by the song-and-dance routines famous in Indian movies, are a defining theme of Hindi cinema that contribute to its enduring cultural significance and context. The majority of Indian pop music is composed of Hindi film songs, which draw their influence from both traditional and contemporary sources. Hindi film songs are now deeply ingrained in North India’s popular culture and are frequently heard there in public areas like markets and shops as well as on bus and train rides and in a variety of other settings. The music-song-dance element is an essential part of the genre, just like the plot, dialogue, and other elements. Hindi films frequently feature many songs and some dance routines, but they are not musicals in the traditional theatrical sense.

Social media users were astounded when a video of a group of Korean students dancing to the song “Ghagra” from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starring Deepika Padukone went viral.

The video, which was first shared on Instagram, features Korean students wearing kurtas and traditional clothing. They were spotted dancing in traditional Indian fashion to the hit song “Ghagra” by Ranbir Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.

This occurs at a time when Korean pop stars like B.T.S. and dramas are all the rage in India. There have been tens of thousands of views and comments on the video. “We Indians are feeling proud and loving toward the Korean students. Godspeed to you and to us all, as one user put it. “Omg. They are so skilled at Indian dancing that I want to cry. Another person said, “I can’t stop watching this video (sic).”

Starring in the Ayan Mukerji-directed Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani were Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur. The blockbuster movie, which cost 40 crore rupees to produce, ended up making 319 crore rupees.
