Pooja Rani (75kg) who was also the ‘Defending Champion’ won her second successive gold with a comprehensive victory. On the other hand, seasoned M C Mary Kom (51kg) signed off with a silver medal at the Asian Boxing Championship on Sunday.
The Olympic-bound Pooja (75 kg), who was competing in her first bout of the tournament dismantled Mavluda Movlonova of Uzbekistan with an impressive performance. Not just that, she also earned a whopping sum of USD 10,000 for her marvellous one-bout show.
