MS Dhoni is one of the most admired and loved cricketers that we have been blessed to have in our country. Ever since the time he started playing for the country till his retirement, MS Dhoni has quite literally done everything right and for real. He’s always been a man of calculated risks and more often than not, things have worked out in his favour. He’s the only Indian captain who’s won all major ICC tournaments and no wonder, India has been lucky to have him as a leader.

Well, as per the latest media reports in Hindustan Times, MS Dhoni has moved the Madras High Court to initiate contempt proceedings and issue summons to IPS officer G Sampath Kumar for his alleged statements against the Supreme Court and certain senior counsels in the matter pertaining to match-fixing. For the unversed, In 2014, Dhoni filed a civil suit to permanently restrain Sampath Kumar, who was the then Inspector General of Police, from making any statement linking him (Dhoni) to match-fixing and spot-fixing of matches. He prayed the court to direct him to pay ₹100 crore towards damages. Back then, an interim order was passed against him that restrained him from passing any statement against MS Dhoni.
