A shocking update coming in ladies and gentlemen.

As per the latest media reports in NDTV and Times Of India, the Supreme Court on Thursday sentenced former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu to a one-year rigorous jail term in a three-decade old road rage case in which a person unfortunately died.

Reports reveal that a bench of Justices A M Khanwilkar and S K Kaul rejected the plea for imposing culpable homicide not amounting murder charge under Section 304A of IPC on Sidhu.

For the unversed, as per media reports, On December 27, 1988, Sidhu and one of his associates Rupinder Singh Sandhu had allegedly hit one Gurnam Singh on his head following an altercation. Gurnam Singh later died.
