Chennai Super Kings unlikely to play Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday

Yesterday, we heard the sad and shocking news of Covid-19 hitting IPL 2021. First, it was in the KKR camp due to which yesterday’s game between KKR and RCB had to be postponed. And later, we heard the news of Lakshmipathy Balaji and 2 other staff members of CSK testing positive for Covid-19.

And now, as per the latest reports in India Today, Chennai Super Kings are unlikely to play their next game tomorrow against Rajasthan Royals as the team is currently in quarantine. Not just that, the CSK squad also decided to skip their practice session at the Delhi stadium after the news of positive results broke out.

Meanwhile, we also hear reports in TOI suggesting that the BCCI contemplating shifting the remaining IPL fixture games to Mumbai’s Wankhede & DY Patil Stadium tentatively by Friday, May 7th.
